Historical Theology

Know the Creed and Councils (2:50): In Know the Creeds and Councils, I introduce the church’s most important statements of faith over the centuries and explain why those statements still matter today.

The Apostles’ Creed (19:30): This is an overview of the background, content, and relevance of there Apostles’ Creed.

The Nicene Creed (7:32): The Nicene Creed is one of the most famous and influential creeds in the history of the church, because it settled the question of how Christians can worship one God and also claim that this God is three persons.

Know the Heretics (6:46): There is a lot of talk about heresy these days. The frequency and volume of accusations suggest that some Christians have lost a sense of the gravity of the word. On the other hand, many believers have little to no familiarity with orthodox doctrine or the historic distortions of it. What’s needed is a strong dose of humility and restraint, and also a clear and informed definition of orthodoxy and heresy.

Bible

The Book of Acts (2:32): The book of Acts chronicles the spread of the gospel in the early church and offers transformative grace for us today.
